Alzheimers Disease and Related Disorders Association, Inc.

“The funding through the Art Van Charity Challenge provided the Alzheimer’s Association – Greater Michigan Chapter and the Alzheimer’s Association – Michigan Great Lakes Chapter with the opportunity to conduct additional educational outreach throughout Michigan about the ten warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease and the importance of early diagnosis. The Art Van Charity Challenge has led to a more informed public about Alzheimer’s disease; more than 3,000 individuals were reached as a result of the Art Van Charity Challenge through more than 75 educational workshops. Furthermore, in most cases, those 3,000 individuals represented other family members and loved ones, so that the public awareness impact was extended dramatically.”
