Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Flint

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Flint’s mission is to provide children, primarily from single parent families, with the friendship of a positive role model. The program promotes and supports positive adult involvement with youth in one-on-one mentoring relationships for at least one year. The Art Van grant will help fund mentoring services to children.

The research show that youth who have a mentor in their lives are less likely to become involved in negative behaviors.
