“Mid-Michigan families know that when their child is seriously ill or injured, Hurley is the best place north of Detroit for pediatric specialty care. On a typical day the Hurley Pediatric Emergency Department serves 70 children.  With the assistance of the Art Van Million Dollar Charity Challenge award these children will have the benefit of new, quality equipment to meet their immediate medical needs during their visit to the Hurley Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Department.”

My niece fortunately/unfortunately had to spend a week in Hurley’s Children’s Intensive Care Unit, and I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the care she received.  Upon arrival via ambulance the emergencystaff and pediatric staff were very fast, thorough, courteous to our family.  It was a very touch and go situation for awhile, but she is now a thriving, vibrant, loving, caring, young teen.  And I THANK YOU HURLEY FOR THE EXCELLENT CARE she received.  She might not have been here if it wasn’t for you, which is a thought I and my family couldn’t even bare to imagine.  AGAIN, THANK YOU HURLEY!!!!
