Mercy Primary Care Center

Mercy Primary Care Center is a free health clinic located on the east side of Detroit. Their mission is to provide a medical safety net for uninsured adults between the ages of 18 and 64 who require healthcare services to improve their quality of life. Mercy Primary Care Center operates their Special Personal Assistance (SPA) program for homeless men and women in the community, which encourages both personal growth and improved health.

Mercy Primary Care Center has given so much to the community. This place is a haven for sure. The staff is loving and caring and the doctors give excellent care. The spa program is great, they allow the homeless to come and get a shower and clean clothes along with a snack or even a full meal at times. The referral program there is one of kind. The patient can get an referral for almost anything they need pertaining to healthcare. Lets not forget about the food pantry that supplies the patients with a few meals to hold them over for a few days. I would and do recommand this facility to each and ever person I feel is in need of there serviecs.

Mercy Primary Care Center is one of the most outstanding medical clinics in Southeastern Michigan serving the uninsured. Patients referred to our eye clinic for services rave about the medical care they receive at “Mercy” and never stop complimenting their entire staff. I could not agree more.

Mercy Primary Care Center is an incredible facility whose staff treat their patients with respect and kindness. I have never seen a healthcare center that is so devoted to its patients and whose sincerity to do the best they can runs so deeply. And of course, their patients receive amazing care and top-notch chronic disease management and prevention. This is what healthcare should look like. It is amazing what MPCC can do with a limited budget and I hope they get the chance to use $25,000 to continue meeting the needs of the community. Vote everyday and please tell your friends!

It is a very good project. I’m sure that they could so many people
on that place. Since not all could afford to have health care insurances,
through this program they could provide the health needs of the uninsured
people.
