Old Newsboys of Flint, Inc.
The Old Newsboys of Flint is a 501 (c)(3) organization whose mission is to “Let No Child Be Forgotten.” Over its 87-year history, the Old Newsboys have brought gifts to over 765,000 needy children through the Holiday Box Program. Every child’s Holiday Box consists of: a fleece running suit, two pair of socks and underclothes, a knit cap and pair of Thinsulate™ gloves, a toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss, and a beautiful new toy. The Old Newsboys requires ID, and proof of family income, and cross references registration with the Salvation Army, Toys for Tots, and four other similar-service providers. Once the child is qualified and duplication ruled out, the Old Newsboys packs a box based on each child’s size, need, and interests. Last year alone, 5,653 children, from newborn through high school seniors, found gifts under the tree because of the Old Newsboys. Please visit our website for more information>
