Parent to Parent of SW MI

Parent to Parent’s vision is to promote opportunities for children with disabilities and special needs, allowing them to fully participate in society through the support and education of all those who have a relationship with children. Parent to Parent of Southwest Michigan is a non?profit organization offering no-cost services to families with children with disabilities or special needs.  Founded in 1998, Parent to Parent serves families in 9 counties and has assisted over 4,000 families. Parent to Parent  offers emotional and educational support through Parent Mentors, a Family Support Partner, support and play groups, referrals, lending library, recreation opportunities, a bi-monthly newsletter, parent network meetings and informal social events. The All Kids Can! Program philosophy:  Given the opportunity and support, ALL can participate and ALL can contribute! The purpose is to share our philosophy by educating and bringing awareness to parents, extended family, caregivers, professionals and community members who have a relationship with children. Through the All Kids Can! Programs, Parent to Parent will expand education and support by increasing community knowledge and connecting people to community resources. The All Kids Can! Programs empower parents by building their confidence as they parent their child with a disability or special need. Please visit our website for more information>
