The Detroit Area Diaper Bank, Inc.’s mission is to build a network to help meet the unmet need for diapers in our community’s most vulnerable populations — babies from low-income households, the elderly and people with disabilities. There is no assistance for diapers, they’re not paid for or provided by WIC, Food Stamps or Medicare. The Art Van grant will help buy 100,000 diapers by Thanksgiving, 2010.

The Detroit Area Diaper BAnk helps out across a wide area. One place they support is the Time For Tots, a day care program homeless kids in Washtenaw County. Clean diapers mean healtier babies. The money saved helps keep familes housed!
