The Kimberly Anne Gillary Foundation

“The Kimberly Anne Gillary Foundation was honored to have been chosen as a grant recipient of the Art Van Million Dollar Charity Challenge. This grant has enabled us to donate an automated external defibrillator (AED) and CPR/AED training to 20 schools from our waiting list. Because of the generosity of Art Van furniture, these schools will have the tools needed to save the life of a student, staff member or visitor in the event of a cardiac arrest. It is inspiring to see companies like Art Van Furniture continue to reach out to help their communities in spite of tough economic times like these. Thank you again for your generosity.” Please check out our website for more information>

The mission of the Kimberly Anne Gillary Foundation is to ensure that every Michigan High School has at least one AED and staff members trained in CPR and the use of an AED.  We have raised over $1 million and donated over 550 AEDs since we started in April of 2000.  100% of all donations to the Foundation are used to purchase AEDs and training.  We are happy to report that so far 2 AEDs donated by our Foundation have saved lives!  Please join us in our effort to ensure that our Michigan high schools are safer for all who attend and visit!  Thank you!

Most, if not all, of the charities are worthy, but The Kimberly Anne Gillary Foundation gets my vote
