Think Detroit Police Athletic League, Inc.
For more than 40 years, in partnership with the Detroit Police Department, the mission of Think Detroit PAL has been to build character in young people through athletic, academic, and leadership development programs. It is among the largest and best youth development programs in the city (Think Detroit was cited by Crain’s Detroit Business as Detroit’s best-managed non-profit in 2004). Through the powerful draw of team sports, Think Detroit PAL’s 1,500 trained and certified volunteers engage more than 10,000 girls and boys between the ages of 4-19 annually, instilling the values of respect, discipline, personal accountability, diversity, and teamwork. Think Detroit PAL programs operate year round and city-wide. Age appropriate programs are available in ten different recreational and travel sports. Please visit our website for more information>
